Distance Reiki
Receive distance healing wherever you are, from the comfort of your own home.

Distance healing is a technique within the system of Reiki that enables a Reiki treatment to be given without being in the same room.  You could be in a different town, or city or even different countries.  The distance  does not affect the quality of the treatment, the healing will be the same.  Reiki is an energy healing and as we are working with energy it is not limited by distance.  Long distance reiki holds the same similarities and effectiveness of in-person Reiki, it is just delivered differently.  

We schedule a date and time convenient to you, setting a specific time for your treatment which enables you to prepare and be in a receptive state, such as laying down or sitting somewhere comfortable for the session.

Before the session I will prepare in the same way as with any Reiki in-person treatment.  At the arranged time I will focus on you directing the Reiki energy to certain positions on your body, in the same way as I would if you were laying on my treatment table.  

Distance Reiki is as effective as in-person sessions, and sometimes more effective as the person receiving Reiki is in their own environment and can relax much more, which allows Reiki to work more effectively and if they want to have a doze afterwards they don't have to get up and disturb the relaxation they feel.

In both cases, in-person (contact) Reiki or distance Reiki we use the  same energy of the same quality.
What to expect from your Distance Reiki

Clients will sometimes notice physical sensations during a distance Reiki session, just as you would from an in-person treatment.  

You may feel warmth, tingling, or a sense of relaxation or peacefulness.  
You might also notice your mind calming or the relief of physical symptoms.

As with in-person Reiki some clients feel alert and aware during the session whilst others drift off, either works well, each treatment is individual.
How to prepare for your session

Distance Reiki is usually 30 minutes.

Find a comfortable quiet place to sit or lay down.

Whilst not essential for the treatment, you may wish to create yourself a healing space by:-

Lighting candles  & playing relaxing music
Setting an intention to heal
Think about what you want from the session beforehand

The benefits of Distance healing are the same as in-person Reiki, potential benefits include:-

Eases anxiety and depression
Relaxes and calms
Balances mood and your emotions
Enhances your body's ability balance and to heal itself
Relieves issues relating to pain

When the session has ended take a few minutes and then take a few deep breaths, wiggle your fingers and toes, and when you're ready slowly sit up, sit for a few minutes before standing.  Listen to your body and move as slowly as you feel you need to, there is no rush. Have a drink of water. 

I will share with you what I experienced during the session and follow up with you the following day.

Reiki is a wonderful complementary treatment and can be used alongside any traditional medical treatment or therapy.


Reiki does not replace conventional medicine or medical treatments that you may be undertaking with your GP.
